Hope Kitchen requires approximately $3000 to operate per month.  We desire community partners who are willing to provide monthly financial support to this ministry.  One-time donations are also welcomed and all contributions are tax deductible. Hope Kitchen is a 501c3 ministry.

This ministry requires teams that are willing to take ownership of a specific day, whether it be monthly or every-other month, etc.  These teams will be responsible for buying food, preparing food, serving the meal, and clean-up.  It is not required but encouraged that team members share the love of Jesus with those who desire a meal.  All meals are served on a first-come, first-serve basis, no questions asked.

Would your church like to adopt a night to serve a meal? Download the form below if you would like to cook one night at Hope Kitchen.

We desire prayer partners who have the same vision to minister to those who are both spiritually and physically hungry.

“And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.” Matthew 10:42 NLT

“Sitting down he called the twelve and said to them, If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” Mark 9:35

Hope Kitchen is open 3 nights a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm for dinner. It is our goal to provide a consistent place for residents of Newton County to receive a FREE meal; no questions asked, no strings attached.

Our goal is to serve ANYONE who feels that a meal would be a benefit to them or their family, regardless of age, social, economic, or physical status.

We are seeking volunteer teams and individuals who are willing to supply the food and labor for at least one meal (per month, quarterly, etc.). Each team will cook, serve, and clean-up the meal while being encouraged, but not required to form relationships and minister to those being fed.

The heart behind Hope Kitchen is to meet the very simple and practical reality of hunger while using food as an avenue to build relationships and share the Love of Jesus Christ to all we encounter.

It is our desire to serve those in need whether it be  a single parent fallen on hard times, the homeless, the lonely elderly who desire relationship, grandparents raising their grandchildren, or the working-poor just trying to make ends meet. We want to serve those in need.

1 JOHN 3:17

If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion–how can God’s love be in that person?

JAMES 2:16

And one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use it that?

If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.

PSALM 22:26

The poor will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek HIM will praise the Lord.  Let your heart live forever!

Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

A generous person will prosper;  whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
